Molten Chocolate Pudding... in a mug (recipe)

So there is this food craze going around the internet which I'm calling the "in-a-mug" craze.

Not very original of me because it just involves one serve recipes to be cooked, you guessed it, in a mug, in the microwave. So I'm adding my own recipe variation to the bunch. It's adapted from a Donna Hay recipe for molten chocolate puddings from her Simple Essentials: Chocolate book.

Molten Chocolate Pudding in a mug

Ingredients

30g butter
50g dark chocolate (I'd recommend 70% cocoa)
1 egg
2 tablespoons caster sugar
1 tablespoon plain flour

Method

1. Melt butter and chocolate in a mug
2. Add egg, sugar and flour and mix well
3. Microwave for 1 minute

And that's it. Easy as!! A quick, no-fuss solution to a chocolate craving.

For the original recipe which makes 4 puddings, go here.

Until next time.
