Recipe Basics - Choc Chip Muffins

Every one needs to have a basic muffin recipe up their sleeve. I've been using this one ever since I can remember. In order to prove this, I've actually done something a little different and just scanned the recipe page into the computer:

It's from an old Women's Weekly cookbook of which we have many.

Look at how dated that cover is. Food photography has definitely moved on since then.

Tips & Tricks

 

For choc chip muffins, use the basic recipe and then just add about 1 cup of choc bits.

Moderately hot oven  = 200 Celsius (or 390 Fahrenheit)



Best consumed when warm.
